The Office of Hawaiian Affairs' Beneficiary Advocacy and Empowerment Committee traveled to the Kapolei region on Wednesday to hold a meeting hosted by the state Department of Hawaiian Home Lands at its new headquarters, Hale Kalanianaʻole. OHA Trustees, Hawaiian Homes commissioners and staff of both agencies also toured DHHL regional projects and homesteads including Maluʻōhai and Kaupeʻa. OHA Chairwoman Haunani Apoliona holds on to an ʻōʻō presented to the Trustees by DHHL Chairman Micah Kane.
